i'm locking this before it turns into a flame war. There's really no way to tell who will win anyways until you actually race. There's all kinds of variables...shape of the car, drivers, weight in the car....ya know.....so race him, and find out.

I'll keep it open unless I see any flames. Seriously tho, these "Who will Win" posts are the dumbest thing. You never know until you race. All cars are not the same, even from the factory sometimes.

Ovrclck, I thought you were right the first time. I'm still trying to find out the tech aspect of this post. I'd even go for a post that was asking "If diet and lose 50 lbs will I have a better 60' time?", but what's so tech about a "my car is better than his, right?" post.

These posts can be tech if you start discussing stuff like mods that each person has done to their car. You guys remember the post I started a couple months ago, about a 86 2.8 Camaro vs. my friends 87 Monte SS? Plenty of tech in there, no flames, 20+ replies.

So, mrzud.
Any mods on either car?

I had a couple of requests to open it. And although I seriously consider it immature for an unnamed person to IM me on AIM, then Warn me because I locked his post, I opened it back up at the request of others.

Mikes86, The operative words there are "could be", it isn't now.

Overclck, Your the man, you do what you think is right. Maybe it's me but I just don't see the tech in this.

trust me, you will wax his ***. I am 6'1" and 275 and I waxed a kid w/ a '89 2.3 and he's 5'2" and just a tad over 110. I drove it once. It didn't even have the power to attempt a brakestand. (burnout.)lets put it this way have your car facing backwards. put proceed to do 12 donuts, then chase him to 60 (he starts when you start to do the donuts you'll still win.

oh btw, think about it the kid had a huge weight advantage, and i still waxed him. the one time his mustang spun the tires was after he washed it in autos. he never did learn how to rotate his tires correctly, but at least he kept his mustang clean.
