Can anyone tell me if the VSS on a non WC T5(1984) is a P.M. style (like my 700R4 had, gizmo in tail shaft w/ 2 wires exiting)?

If it was a P.M. what was the RPO code for it and what is the approx diameter of it(1" or 2")?

My ghetto-rigged cable-to-VSS assembly is not working as well as I had hoped and I need to find out if a VSS will work.
