How much extra power with these goodies?

Ok last Saturday I took advantage of that discount from Summit and ordered some goodies for my 2.8. Question I got is obvious...how much power should I expect when everything's in the Camaro?

K&N air filters (the 2 drop-in tht go over the radiator, with those little shields removed)
Catco hi-flo cat converter
Dynomax cat-back #17943
MSD-6 ignition
MSD GM blaster coil
MSD heli-coil wires

In addition to how much power, I got one more question:
Recommendations for a good cap and rotor, and what spark plugs should I use?

The Dynomax and Catco should be good for 3-7HP. The K&N's should give you 1HP. The ignition sutff will provide better throttle response, better gas mileage due to more complete combustion. In the terms of HP 1, but overall a nice thing to have especially if NOS is in your future.

Plugs use the STOCK ONES.... AC DELCO gapped just a hair wider. If stock is .45 then .47 or .46....

Yeah, you'll definately feel a seat of the pants boost from these mods! I agree with Brian; the stock plugs are fine, and since you've got the MSD, you can go a big larger on the gap.

I use Accel's cap & rotor, part #8132, but I hear the AC/Delco one is just as good. In fact I might use the AC/Delco one for my next major tuneup.

If you have the extra money get the AC Rapid fires. They are a little better for a few reasons, maybe in the tune of 1 hp or 2, but nothing major. You could actually open you gap up by .05" over stock with a complete ignition upgrade. That is where you will get your extra HP form your ignition because you are introducing a larger spark to you combustion. The components just allow you to get tha larger spark there.

I like splitfire plugs, myself, and use Accel for everything else ignition. Of course, right now I'm having major ignition failure, so maybe that should come under consideration...

Anywho, I heard that the stock gapping is incredibly conservative, so I ovegapped mine either .05 or .1, I can't quite remember, and they ran fine for two years, the first with a stock coil.
