cam?

hey guys, i was looking in summit and saw the crane compucams and was just curious which cam did u all get? there are two in there, one is number 254112 and says RPM range 1k-4k and the other is # 254122 and rpms 1.5k-4.5k . What are the RPM ratings for, please tell me that's not a idle? i'm jsut curious, i'm probably not going to buy right now, but in the near future. thanx

the cam listed as 1,000-4,000 is for Blazers . it gives them their power and torque down low where a heavy truck needs it. the cam listed as 1,500-4,500 is for V6 f-bodys or any CAR with the 60* block. this gives you power higher in the range so it will pull longer . it's more performance minded.
