will the 3.8 v6 fit in a third gen???

just wondering if the 3.8 from the 4th gen would fit in our cars. if not why and how could it be made to work?????? thanx in advance

Sure it will work.
I am not sure who has done it here.
The upgraded 60* V-6 is an easier swap.
Allows one to keep same current tranny and computer stuff.
Let us know what ya do and write a thread for the details like I did (3.4 long block Swap Boogie!).

not to sure on what iam going to do yet. if i can get it to fit iam going to try for one of the bigger v6's( wouldnt it be nice to find a grand natationl in the junk yard)

If i can make it fit iam gona get the engine and everything needed good to go over the winter so when it comes time for doing the swap it will be as painless as possible.

Iam hopeing to find a v6 i can put a turbo on. i like the challenge of building up a v6, everyone and their brother has a v8, but how many 250hp v6's do ya see cruseing around =)

Im pretty sure you could fit a 800cid in the engine bay our 3rd gens have!!!

yes it should fit. Try getting the supercharger from the FWD cars too you can get it to 300HP pretty easy if not more so. They usualy don't go over 300HP because the FWD tranny can't handle it.
