Ya have to face somethings, kids are hooked on the imports. Why well the aftermarket makes more parts for them and cheap. You can go get a civic, buy header, a intake and exhaust all polished up for under 500 bucks. Spend 1200 and you have a turbo setup.. I think we have been sold out in America, not just with car, but with government...

 

Hey I'm a college student and I hate rice burners, front wheel drive stuff sucks any way you look at it, those rice burners have no "looks" or "heritage". Besides, have you all ever looked at a RICE burner message board, those people don't know sh*t about cars they just think HP and 1/4 mile times. But not what counts, you can never call a rice burner a "classic" or a "muscle car" LOL thats what stands us apart from that IMPORT SH*T. The only way they get that nice gas milage is becauses of the VTEC **** that makes it possible to HAVE HIGH out put HP on demand but the rest of the time be a little 4 banger with no torque. Plus how long does that stuff last and DO YOU KNOW how much it costs for IMPORT parts, let me tell you it isn't funny but a crime from those b*sterds. It really funny is even though we have V6's and our car weights twice the weight of a Rice burner we can still be them. REMBER THIS ONE RULE IN DRAGE RACING:

"THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT"

No matter what those guys do to a Rice burner we can too, and we will always be faster.

Thats my 2 cents, if you want you can go buy a Rice burner with it to prove me wrong.

No, just kidding there are none!
When you look at a v8 you see a gas guzzeling monster power house right? Yea! But this is half true literally half. 1/2 of 5.0 is 2.5.
a typical 5.0 gets 22 mpg "my 305 does this in the city" lets see a 2.5 liter "not the good old Iron Duke mind you" import gets around the same milage city. could this 2.5 un aided by NOS or any other adder keep up with the good old 5.0? Uhhhm no. What about the same fuel milage factor? Kinda seems inefficent for a 4 banger to get the same milage as a v8. Also forgot to mention the firebird weighs a good 1000 pounds more than an import. Man does that efficenicy level keep droping or what? The big one We know that there are imports that run 8's 9's 10's all the time. Yea I wish my car would run an 8 but thats not going to happen. Why? I dont want to rip my car down to a frame, I dont want to spend 6000$ on an engine and I dont want to run NOS, Oh I just reviled how they run 8's. Oh well im telling all the secrets here might as well go for a big one.
At the track there was a ***** guy with a striped CRX that ran 10's 11's. I asked him what kinda milage does his car get. He laughed you mean GPM. Well anyways he said on a avarage night "6 passes and tunning" his 5g fuel cell would be empty. Sounds like its eating more fuel than a BB to me!
