3.1 V6 91 RS
3.1 V6 91 RS
Hey guys... New to the forums. You guys seem to know alot. Just bought a 91RS V6 3 days ago 1100$. 124k on the motor. Wondering what all i should do to her. Mechanically shes running ok. Oil change, tune up... But what else should i do? Cosmetically needs some work. Also wanting to change the intake, and exhaust. Suggestions? Opinions? All are appreciated. Thanks!

You should take off the weels, put way stiffer springs in so you can run BFG A/T's. Then remove the front and rear bumper to improve the approach/departure angles. After that drill some holes in the roof and add some KC daylighters, probably some of the best off road light on the market.
Oh wait, are you not asking what you should do to make it an ORV?

What k-slice meant was; what do you want to do with it?
Daily driver? Drag, autoX, drift, shows, cruiser, etc.....
Desired power level? Budget?

Or maybe add what you want to do with the car? Will it be a DD, autoX, drag racer? How much money do you have to spend? What's your skill level? What are the future goals?
Pretty much you're first post was: I bought a car, what should I do with it? Umm, i dunno, drive it? If you're asking what can i do to make it faster, I would personally go read the sticky called "how to get the most power out of your V6"... I know it sounds crazy to actually read and educate yourself, but it works.

Get a Chilton manual for it and start looking through it. Then do some maintenance and get to know your way around it to the extent you're interested in messing with it. Then there are threads about suspension, engine, interior etc. Hours, days, weeks of reading. But first just drive it around and have fun. Then, if you want to put some money into it, it'll eat up whatever you've got. And welcome to TGO.
