Now that i have swapped out the tranny and in the process of hooking up the new, i realize that the speedometer hook ups are different. Do i need to order a new speedometer to make this work.

 

Most Camaro 700r4's had cable driven speedo's but only later ones had an electronically controled speedo. All you need to do is look at the speed sensor from your old tranny and either use it or buy a new one. It's in the tailshaft on the drivers side.

so i can transfer over the gear and everything will bolt right in and work fine. Thanks for the help!
