hell for that cheap though id grab one and stick in in a closet even if it sits there for a year,lmao i bought 2 extra for my iroc the other day

i cant say much though my plan was to have the iroc finished and the bodywork done and the car painted already so i could drive it threw the winter.
by the time i get it painted it will be way to close to winter so my car will prolly sit for 6-8 months to give the paint time to harden up and not worry about getting road salt on it after being painted

ok i was thinking today about the potential that i want with my car after the turbo and i think that when i tear it down i should do the 3x00 swap. I know theres a good thread on this but who knows exactly what FWD motors i can use?????? Im looking to find one at a junk yard and i need to figure out what all motors i can use.. the swap looks easy so i thoght id do that at the same time as the turbo so that i dont have to tear it down again....what do motors at the junk yard go for anyways??? 2-4 hundred bucks at most... it doesnt matter if its high miles anyways right?? since im just using the top end.

Anything that says "3100 SFI" or "3400 SFI" on the intake. You probably won't be able to walk 20 feet in the wreckers without seeing a dozen cars with these engines in them.
Your best bet is to not use the top end from the ones that say "3100 SFI V6" with the lines on it, since these are the small port top ends.
