Edelbrock 2.8L valve Covers
I bought a set of Edelbrock Valve Covers off ebay the other day, i have a question. On my stock valve covers on the drivers side the are 2 holes, one for the filler cap, and the other for like some valve or something, do i need the valve thingie because i really want to drill a second hole in the new chrome covers?

Fiero valve covers are the best solution.

I have these valve covers on my 2.8 now. This is what I did.
On the drivers side of factory covers you have an oil fill and the PCV valve.Passangers side you have a fresh air intake that circulates air through the engine.
With the Edlebrock cover they do not have a oil fill hole. You will need to get a set of grommets with oil baffels to fit your PCV valve and the fresh air intake.
The covers look great.I've been tickeled to death with them. When someone hears I've "built" a 2.8 they want to see it.You ought to see their face when they see a Chevrolet orange engine with an aluminum intake, chrome valve covers and a polished MPFI plenum. They will stand there for a moment looking and finaly say..."DAMN"...that bitch is fine looking!".As I write this I realize I don't have any pics of it.That will need to change!

I have no clue about the Fiero covers.I have a Fiero mag here somewhere I got for a friend.
when I got the mag he sold the Pontiac.Figures
Anyway,I bought mine from CC Hotrod. Can't remember exactly but it was close to $40.You can goto Edlebrock.com and look for them. But their like $60 to $70.I have a Edlebrock catalog around here somewhere.I'll look for it and give you the part #.As well as anyone else who wants it!

I'm looking forward to those pics, Kevin!
Fiream, stop a leak before it starts... on the chrome covers, lightly scuff the valve cover's sealing surface with some fine sandpaper. That'll help the covers make a stronger seal to the gasket material.
