Headers

PSM-70-1163 (Pace Setter)

Headers, 83-85 Ranger/Bronco II 2WD 2.8 V6, 1.5`` Primary/2.5`` Collector

$142.99

Will that bolt up to my car? If not what are the ones that will and what are the dimentions? (primary, collector) I think I've got a job and if I do I'll be making hella money, and exhaust is going to be my first order of business. I'm doing a whole system; headers, custom mandrel Y-pipe, to a high flow cat, back to dynomax and then twin (one on each side) 18 inch straight tips...

I want to design this smart (not that the collector is 2.5, and I go with a muffler that is only 2 inch) so I need to get the diamiters right... I want to boost overall torque. (so if there are different headers out there for our cars with different dimentions, i need to know).

Also, you say there are no street legal headers for our cars... what makes them street legal? I don't have any smog pump or air pump (car didn't come with them from the factory), and the only thing I'll have to do to the custom Y-pipe is have them tap a whole in it for my O2 sensor. So what's the deal? Hook me up :P

I'm not seeing any header information there... and the bit about the exhaust, I was already planning on that route...

I want to know if there are any alternatives to headers, primary size and collector size, companies, prices, do they come with a coating or without, ect...

Camaro_Hunter, any idea when headers are going to be made available? I'll be purchasing sometime within the next 4-5 months (need a tranny rebuild first, and -hopefully- I'll get hired for this job)...

Otherwise... tell me what's out there!!! What differentiates smog/street legal from illegal... camarohunter how will your headers be different from what is out there to make them street legal!? I'm dying for answers...

3.4 4th gen headers will bolt up to the heads, but must be bent to clear firewall. do not know about edelcrotch 2.8 blazers manifolds. easiest thing should be to wait for camaro_hunter_d to get his $hit going "He's our hookup, holla if ya hear me"

As I said the sooner I get peps buyin the NOS systems, springs, from my site the sooner I can quit my 12 hour shift 5 day job to get the stuff done I want to. Just to let you guys know, I only mark up 30 bucks(20 for me and 10 for drop ship cost) plus shipping of course. I am hoping to get this going within a month. I am fighting with Ebay right now so I can sel there. But if this gets going... he he try like 2 months after I get the stuff I need then they'll be ready(headers) will be the easiest.
