don't guess. You might disappoint yourself, better to just go and run, then find out where u stand, and adjust from there. words of wisdom.

Agreed! The first time's always the "best" time at the track, experience wise- usually you'll wind up beating that first time in later trips.

Er, unless you're me... who still can't beat his original "engine waaaaay out of tune, trans blew a month later" time of 16.87.

Just think you're going to get like a 20 sec quarter. Then when you go faster than that, you will be very happy!

17's. Your next mod should be 4.10 gears if you want 16.5's. The jet chip should give you .1 or .2 off the 1/4. Run on near empty, take out the spare and bass box if you have one. Then you might walk away with a smile ready for more.

I oppose the running almost empty theory. My car runs best around 1/3 to 1/4 tank. It keeps max pressure in the fuel pump and puts weight on the back to get good traction. Then again, if you have no tractions problems, run on fumes!!!

Lol, true that, a 1/4 tank is what I meant anyways.

I have no freakin clue what times I would get. When it was bone stock, I got 17.1@80 (bout 75 degrees and 25 MPH head wind). It was in alright condition then. My kills confuse me on how fast my car is now.
