ok, if you want a roller cam for the motor, get one for the 6 not 8. gm does sell this, just get the block from the newer 3.4 cars, fab some mounts, get heads from 93-95 3.4 f-body cars & there you go. nuthin to it.

3.4 V-6....
Cam -------- is this long for a V-8
Cam ------ For a V-6....Hence it will not fit.
If you are only wanting to use the lifters.... then that is a different story...

The lifters are the same bore? Wow, never thought of that!
Yeah, there'd be four extra lobes on the V8 cam, 2 for each cylinder (intake & exhaust), making it too long. Plus, a used cam might not be the best idea, anyway... for all the work involved, ya might as well put a new camshaft in.
