forged pistons

forged pistons

where can i get forged pistons, i am going to be rebuilding my .040 over 2.8 and am going to run him on the bottle. dont want any crappy pistons in there.

also, extremely strong connecting rods and wrist pins. this is gonna end up bien a high horse motor. i know it sounds dumb because its only a 2.8 but i love these motors and if i could burn some 305s and some 302 stangers with i the way it was before, why not make an even more impessive 6 cylinder. im sure you guys understand this i just need to know where to get the stuff.

Get a PAW catalog.. all that stuff is in there... i dont have the catalog right off hand so i cant give u part numbers, but i know their in there.

ARP makes what ya need in the rod bolt area
Buy a 3.4 running engine for what ya reall need.
Quick project swap, a running engine with the power you're spending too much money on (rebuilding a 2.8 with $$$$$$$$ hipo parts & machine costs).

Yeah, but you won't get much out of the websites, you'll have to call to get that kind of part info.

Forged pistons (from PAW) are $200 more than cast pistons... and I think cast pistons are $180.

I also paid $800 for my running 40K 3.4 block. And sold left over parts from my swap for $105 on ebay.
