I get the part about you wanting more power, but the whole first sentence makes no sense to me. You were racing a Honda and winning when you think it had gas in it? Fallowed with no comma and "it just sounded odd." And why would this be the reason why you want more power?

 

idk i have raced b18 honda this was a single cam d16 and i got beat the next day i drove the car agin and it feels like the power has droped off more and i think im smalling more cat could that be ?

dont worry about it i raced a honda and got beat felt as my car was slugish i whent and put 93 in it raced 3 hondas that hand more work done to then then the one and then i raced a 5.0 sn95 and he couldnt keep up is i had a issue and i think i had crap gas.

I noticed in your info it says you have a 3.4 with a super charger. Got any pics of that? I would be interested to see what it looks like as I was playing around with that idea for my car and was curious as to how it looks.

 

hmm i dont think i fixed it ye it only dose it with the colder days she is stumbling on take of i have no egr and my tb is not heated bye water any more but it didnt do this last wenter .going to do a tune up cuse i have full msd and i think im geting rich . i have a ? two i know you all think that at 4100+ the v6 is out of the power band mybe i have a funny 60* 6 i had a glass back and the motor wouldnt realy pull hard till 43ish then it would pull hard till well red line 6500 rpm it would turn over that and keep pulling but i dont think 7000rpm is good thats turning .ok but now i have a it was free cat back flowmaster that was guted (why would you do that ) but it makes my 6sound like a camed ls motor makes me think i have a cam some times but it dose not pull like it use to i know you caan play with you power curv bye playing with the flow .


ps the blower "was" a paxton head unit im working on a roots set up maybe i wont give up and will get it done one day

well maybe you are losing power because you have a bad Catalytic converter.

That could be one solution.

wanna go that fast with a v6 truth be told its not worth it, my v6 car will run high 11's with a gear change and a lil wieght taken out as my car sits its 3422 pounds, without driver. for the money most of u would spend to get ur v6 cars setup like mine u could build an n/a sbc 355 or sbc400 with afr heads and run just as fast cheaper.why??? because i did all my own work and dont pay for labor, if anyone of u guys had to pay for everything done to my car + full price for parts i bet u would be up over 10k

sure there are ppl that can do what i did on this board but truthfully the majority of the board doesnot have the fab skills or the tools required to make the v6 fast
