Performance
Ok so I got my camaro running right now. Turns out it was just a bad spark plug wire. I changed all the plug wires, plugs, distrubtor cap and rotor, fuel filter and coil.
heres some pictures of my third gen!

I am wondering do headers help out in performance on the 2.8L engines and do the jet performance underdrive pulleys help?

Yes. A little. But you may also get advice on more bang for the buck with a swap to bigger v6 or v8 for more power. All just time and money.

Re: Performance
I don't really want to swap a bigger v6 into or a v8 because of fuel prices right now and the fact I have no place to do the swap. Anyways, my biggest plans for the car are to get the most horse power out of the 2.8 as possible. Like, I'm going to do headers, under drive pulleys, egr block off plate, a better exhaust system, ported intake and heads and some other stuff. Also I was wondering can the pontiac fiero gt cam be swapped into the 2.8l camaro? or is it the same one thats in the camaro?

Also I'm kinda curious about cold air intakes on these 2.8l's? Do they help? Make them run rich or lean? or what, like I know on civics they help out a lot but I've never had a camaro and im not sure if they would help on a camaro?
