Car: 87 camaro/ 78 gmc serria classic
Engine: 2.8 soon to be 350/ 350
Transmission: 700r4/ turbo 350
Axle/Gears: have no clue.
car wont startplease help!!!
Ok so i just did a tune up on my camaro 2.8 plugs, wires, cap, rotor. and still wont start, i have fuel, spark, just no starting.it turns over hard has scene i got it, i assume it is my timing seeing as how thats what the problem was for the last owner. anything else it might be before i start re-timing it?

if it has spark and fuel, more then likley ur timming is 180* off, check the order of ur plug wires and make sure its right.
did u happen to remove the distributor when u did the tuneup?

u may have to remove the dizzy cap and verify which terminal is number 1
some times a previous owner if they pull the dizzy will just drop it back in and use the terminal closest to the rotor as the number 1 instead of actually putting it in the right place

Distributor cap... Dizzy cap.
Firing order is in numerical order 1-6. #1,3,5 PASSENGER'S side.
Pick a terminal to use as #1 and remove and reinstall the dizzy so that the rotor points to that terminal with #1 on the firing stroke (TDC). It will either run or need to have the wires for #1 and 4 switched and the firing order reset from there.
