Re: firebird vs. fiero manifolds

Intake manifolds are similar but different. Fiero mounts the starter on the other side of the block. Leave the Fiero 2.8 alone and go find a '93-'95 3.4L.

Re: firebird vs. fiero manifolds

The 3.4L upper intake will fit but needs modifications to work correctly.

Yes the motors are the same. Pre 85 have some internal differences and carbs but all iron headed 2.8 and 3.1L 660's are about 80% the same IIRC. Just little things are different through the years... MAF or speed density, 7th injector, dif. egr, exc..

Re: firebird vs. fiero manifolds

do not block off the coldstart injector , unless urs is broken and u cant find a new one.

the egr is very simple to make a blockoff plate for.

and i dont belive the fireo egr plate will work on ur 2.8
