Idle air bypass delete?
I have a 2.8. The 3.1 does not have the Bypass hose. Can I plug this on my 2.8 with out any problems? Can I just swap the 2.8 for a 3.1 TB?

No and NO.
What is it with you guys trying to over-simplify everything lately? If the parts weren't supposed to be there at the time of manufacture, do you think GM would have wasted the time and money to put them there?

I guess I like to experiment and do this as a hobby. your car isnt stock. the 3.1 doesnt have a IAB. I am sure there is a way to get rid of it on the 2.8

Re: Idle air bypass delete?
the 3.1 bypasses air around the throttle blade, the 2.8 bypasses that ir threw that tube directly into the lower manifold/lower manifold cold start injector passages
since the 3.1 does not have the csi or csi passages it does not need to by7pass the air directly into the lower intake, warmup enrichment on the 3.1 is handled directly by the port injectors , were as the 2.8 relies on the csi
