Low Idle still persisting

Alright so an update to what I have done to the car is that I have replace most of the vacuum tubes within the car, replace the EGR valve gasket, and cleaned the throttle but still to of no avail. I am completely lost here as my idle is still low once my car is warm and its ranging from borderline touching 500rpm to 700rpm. Its better than before as it use to go from 500-600 but its not back to where it should be. My car still feels like it has a rough idle and I am still getting the code 32. The only thing left, that I can think of, is changing the TPS and/or the EGR itself, other than that I am lost.
By the way, I have sprayed Carb Cleaner around the EGR Valve Gasket before we changed it and it slightly spiked the RPM of the car during idle, but it still did the same effect but to a lesser extent even after we changed out the part.
Can anybody please help out on this issue?

Re: Low Idle still persisting

Did you clean the EGR valve while you had the stuff apart? The EGR valve should be CLOSED at idle, which means that you could spray around the base gasket all day long and not get anything into the intake.

honestly I didnt do much when the parts were separated, instead I just brushed off some of the carbon deposits off of the EGR valve and slightly brushed the area that it was connected to.

Have you checked and cleaned everything that can be? Plugs, wires, injectors etc. etc. Test the tps etc before buying replacements.

Well the TPS is the same as what the car came with back in 1989, so I replaced that recently with a BWD version. The rough idle is slightly better but no real increase, next I am going to inspect the IAC, then if that doesnt work then I am going to check the plugs/wires, and lastly im probably going to replace the EGR with a BWD version as well

Re: Low Idle still persisting

I'm having the same issue with this. Rough/low idle when the motor has heat in it. Could the EGR valve be the issue? And if so, where is it located?

the egr valve is that thing to the left of the engine that consists of 3 columns and has an electrical connector going into the top

Aero, have you checked to make sure your timing is correct?

Re: Low Idle still persisting

Um, on an 89, the EGR valve is the UFO thing next to the passenger's side valve cover... "Digital" EGR wasn't used until 90...
