2.8 To 3.4 Swap

Car: 84' Trans Am
Engine: 5.0 H.O. L69
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 Disc Brakes
2.8 To 3.4 Swap
I'm planning in the near future to do this swap. I have a carb 2.8 and I was wondering if someone else has successfully done that swap. I searched a few threads but only found swaps involving the fuel injection. For those of you that have done this have any tips? Thanks again!

Engine: 3.1 Turbo/ 355 twin turbo
Transmission: a4 w/ 4500 stall/ a4 / t5
Axle/Gears: strange s60 /w 3:42's

swap will be the same exept just reuse ur carb intake ,carb and distributor on the new engine
u will still need to reuse ur old front timing comver and oil pan on the 3.4
by all means it should run just fine, but it may run a tad lean.
if i was going to goto a carbed 3.4 i would do the edlebrock intake and 390cfm holley carb so it could be fine tunned alot easier.unfortunatly its not cheap to do so
or find myself a donor car and swap over the fuel injection
