Re: fuel psi

off the top of my head. you want it to maintain 30+psi after you shut it off for at least 30min to a hr.

Re: fuel psi

wow...ummm it doesnt hold any at all, i can shut it off and it drops right away... down to zero... with a new regulator... when you install the fpr is there an o ring that is supposed to go between the rail seat and the regulator? the kit came with a bunch of o rings, but nowhere to install the? even the directions, {not that i needed them lol} did show anything either

Re: fuel psi

Double check you got the FPR screws tight. I know that when I swapped mine out I almost had to strip the holes in the rail to get the FPR to hold pressure.

IIRC, there wasn't any o-rings in the regulator... They were probably for the injectors and the fuel lines. Seems to me that the diaphragm was sandwiched between the cover and the rail and that was that.

Huh. Mine came with an o ring. Maybe thats why you had to tighten it so much for it to hold pressure

Re: fuel psi

Nope. Straight from my 3.1 fuel rail into my 2.8 fuel rail. No o-ring.

While its running or just priming? If just priming the pump then yes. running it should return a decent amount as well iirc only like 30% of fuel is even used from the pump the rest returns back.
