I was talking to rubberducky awhile back about buying his hybrid but he hasn't been on for the past few weeks does anyone have any other contact info for him like a phone number or email? And if u dont feel comfortable giving that to me if u could message or call him yourself and let him know that i am in need of his hybrid id greatly appreciate that thanks in advance

Re: 2.8 hybrid
With what you were saying in the other thread about your financial situation, I would not recommend a hybrid at this time. It will take a lot more money and time than you probably believe it will.
I would, from the information you have shared, just swap in another stock 2.8 for your car. Save up and build another engine, as a hybrid if desired while driving the car and then swap in when you have more time and money to complete the swap. I did this exact thing with my '85 Jimmy, built an engine while driving the truck and then spent a week swapping it in. I had probably about 55 to 60 hours into the swap itself, granted I did build some headers and turbocharged it at the same time, but even using pre-made headers and not turbocharging the truck I would have likely had about 50 hours into the swap still.
