2.8 cyl compression

Hey guys and girls.
Would like to know what the compression of the 2.8 was.
Did compression test on my car 89 rs 2.8
Came out to 149-152 on all cyls. Pretty sure the 149 was just from me not waiting till gauge was finished moving. Are these numbers good. What was orginal and what are ur 2.8s running at

Re: 2.8 cyl compression

Those numbers are good. Did you happen to leave the Guage on and see how long it took to drop pressure?

Re: 2.8 cyl compression

A leak down tester is a completely different tool. The pressure from a dynamic compression test bleeds off as quickly as it builds.
