Re: Trueleo intake

From what I've seen the Trueleo intake was not an improvement over stock.

You are probably going to be very hard pressed to find one, I would check eBay or some fiero forums. Why twins?

What he said. Twins are just for show really imo when it comes to what we are planning to accomplish with our engines.

I don't know just want twins I guess, If I can't find a Trueleo I'll build a dual throttle body intake, one turbo per 3 cylinders... thanks to the replys though

Re: Trueleo intake

Honestly, twins complicate things to much. It costs more money, takes more time, and involves more work. But if that is what you want, then go for it man. Post up some pictures when you start, I'm sure all of us would love to see it.

Re: Trueleo intake

I second what C2YT said. I want to see some pictures when you are building and once you are done. I had a similar plan for my 3.1 but I have decided on a single t3/t4 for ease.
My intake plan is to go with something similar to the one below, although much cleaner looking.

Those pictures aren't mine. I will be doing chronicling the build when I make mine.

Ha ha ha there were only like 3 ever made for our cars, my old one, and two others.... all indicated 35hp improvement over stock setups to the rear wheels. Mine was the only one built to use a 65mm throttlebody, and with the cam I had, u saw more than the 35hp increase...

Very close to what I'm doing however I'm gonna try replicating TLGs design for the intake however if it deems too difficult I was gonna switch to that design you posted... also have you figure out whether you need and how to run if you do 2maf sensors since there will be 2 throttle bodies??

Re: Trueleo intake

Mines a map set up so I don't have the maf issue, but there are several issues I'm still trying to figure out. Mainly with whether or not I can split the tps feed and still have it ready right . I'll start posting again to my thread here:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/v6/7...um-intake.html
Keep us posted as i'm always intrigued to see new things. Good luck!

Re: Trueleo intake

You only need a single TPS, since both throttle bodies will be opening at the same rate, or at least should be with the split intake design.
