2.8 Transmission Mount issues

Hey Guys. I’m having trouble finding a aftermarket 2.8 Camaro 1989 RS manual transmission mount.

The local shop tells me it’s circular , but everyone that comes up is a rectangle.

Do you guys have any experience with this? I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for them to fabricate me something that would work.

Some cars got the fluid filled circular mount. They are hard to find and expensive. Go get a cross member from any other car that has a square one and swap it out.

I had the same issue long time ago, ended up getting a auto crossmember from the junk yard and buying a very cheap nice new trans mount , square rubber block type . Sorted. Forever . Lol
