engine- 3.1 v6 with portmatched intake plenum, larger injectors, carbon fiber intake tubes, oversized double pass cross low radiator the we had to modify to get the radiator to fit in the frame rails. pacesetter headers wrapped in lava heat wrap into a y pipe and out through a magnafloy muffler and out through the blown diffuser. msd ignition as well as a remapped computer program

Love it. now I see why you didn't list engine mods on the episode. it's basically a stock engine. Sounds nice. Do you have a youtube page? I think 200 might be a little optimistic with untouched stock heads but it seems to run very well. I never thought i'd see a v6 thirdgen on that show. and now i'd love to see my turbo v6 on there.

Cool car, thanks! I wish they would have showed some of the work that was put into widening the suspension.

This thread Here covers some of the mods, before the car was painted. If you're on a desktop there's a good pic in the sig (doesn't display on mobile view).

Morrow, hybrid swap it and have something somewhat unique! then turbo that. then take it back to matt. why be just another ls swap. I don't get it.

Marrow, curious if you have started an engine swap or have changed plans for the car's engine? Your car is beautiful and I would love to see what it can do with more power! Even if you turbo that v6!

Re: For you V6 guys
sooo the car is a road race settup... due to thast it needs sertain things..
an ls is the easiest, most cost efective, reliable and consisten power\
destroked down to a 311 it wont have low end power but it will have cositten tq vs hp curve as well as turn up to 9k red line and be supper wicked
i have considdered a 4 rotor
orrr a twin turbo 6 or compound turbo 6
the issue is weight... it has to be light to keep the weight bias... and i would rather have na due to consistancey on the track
i would love to see what its capabilties are too....

Re: For you V6 guys
So your plans haven't changed then. Hope to see your swap happen soon. I am saving up to do the same myself. Want to go LS3 with a t-56 (possibly magnum) once funds allow. That will drop a good chunk of weight from my current 305.
Good luck to you!

Re: For you V6 guys
Just realized you got some new wheels on it. They look great! Also looks like you removed the front lip?

Re: For you V6 guys
just do a full 3500 build with aluminum block and use titanium for your turbo headers. problem solved
+
be lighter than using an iron ls block
