2.8 No Start woes

So my 2.8 had been running ok. Drove it back and forth for some days to work. Really didn't give me much problems except it would stall a few times and idle a bit high but overall most of the time ran good.
Sometimes popping from exhaust when revving high and shifting gears but most of the time ran ok. So I parked it for a tune up. I bought new plugs, wires and cap and rotor. So I replaced the above items.
I go to start it and no start wtf? Let me mention that I didn't disconnect the neg batt cable. I'm thinking maybe something shorted out ok.
This time I disconnect neg cable just to be safe. So I go to replace ig coil and icm. Prime suspects. Ig coil was bit rusty. Icm as well, cheap valuecraft 1 year warranty was in there. Looked like they were in there for quite some time. Ok I go to start it and again no start. Cranks alot faster and sounds better but still no start or any sign of it wanting to start. So now I have replaced all ignition parts except the pick up coil. I'm gonna be doing that next. I just don't understand why it doesn't wanna start if it started before. I have good fuel pressure fp is new. Shrader valve squirts fuel up high. I' gonna swap out pick up coil and hope it starts. Timing order is good and timing is at 10. I'll get back.
