today i got my catalytic converter (Catco direct fit 2.5) and my dynomax cat back (2.5 mandrel bentt tubing to a dynomax super turbo muffler, w/dual outs) i will hopefully have them on by next week, i will put sound clips of it on my site when i get it on the car.



the cc weighs: 7.5lbs (with clamp)

cat back:
intermediate pipe is 13lbs
clamps are 2.5lbs
super turbo muffler is 14lbs
both tail pipes together were 9lbs

so the system weigh about 46lbs give or take

 

Flows all the way Baby...

And it sounds really good (When the car is working)

I just hope I didn't wipe them out when I redid my computer.

Speaking of mufflers , I was at school today and hear what I think is a crotch rocket revving but didn't hear the humm of the bike .I was like what the heck is that ? I finally see it as Im walking through the parking lots .Its about a 94-96 TA and it had some kinda raspy sounding exhaust .IT SOUNDED LIKE PURE CRAPOLA on a 350 . At first I thought it was just a crotch rocket that had a bad sound to it , but I usually like the way they sound ....Never heard a V8 that I didn't like the exhaust .Wonder what this was guys ?

i gotta talk to my uncle and see if we can use the lift at his shop to put the catback on,mabie on the weekends, or weekday, but then i would have to ride my grandmothers 89 ford escort to school

I need to hear ST's on these engines!!!

I love the 80 series on these cars, but I need to know what the ST's sound like before I pay lots of money on this kinda stuff... Pizza Hut wages arn't very forgiving when it comes to expensive mistakes...
