1990 camaro started running like crap out of no where

My Camaro randomly decided to stop running like a dream, It idles fine but whenever put into gear it tries to die out and the check engine light does come on but their is no code for it, I took it on the road just to see what it would do and it barely was able to get itself going and the gas pedal felt like it was clicking, It also smokes and leaves behind a black residue from the exhuast, I've checked the tps,iac replaced the map and the fuel pressure regulator and several sets of plugs. Any ideas?

Just swap over the blue memcal under the access cover. Plug and play. I hate to shot gun parts just sounds like ecm. If you have a scanner can watch for codes to pop while running after disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes to reset ecm and clear codes. If a 3.1l it’s a 1227730 service number ecm summit racing has it under cardone 77-7730 for a good price last time I checked.

Can also try tapping on the ecm case while running to see if it changes how it runs to confirm it’s bad. Doesn’t always work as a test unfortunately.

I've replaced just about every sensor on the car possible, It only has an engine light when running but it won't throw a code. I'm gonna get a new ecm and coolant temp sensor. The ecm looks about 30 years old anyway so at this point it's just preventative maintenance. I'll try tapping on it and see if that helps anything a bit later on, other than that I will update Thursday if i can get my hands on one when I get paid
