My mom had a bad heart attack today and then her heart stopped all together. When I left the hospital she was in a coma. Lets hope she pulls out of this with no brain damage. The doctors said she has a 50/50 chance of living. Please guys I need all the prayers I can get! I cant lose my mom, I only have one PLEASE PLEASE PRAY! Thanks guys. Talk to you tomorrow...

Ill keep her in my prayers, a friend of mine is in a coma because he ran a red light and whent head on with a school bus at 45 mph in a 1/4 ton toyota truck.... not to pretty.

I know how ya feel as my Dad has Prostate cancer. I pray he's really in the super early stage for able to cure.

A couple of months ago, my Dad was diagnosed with cancer in his lung and the bone of his shoulder. Initial treatments were very positive, and hope springs eternal in the hearts of all of us.

Two weeks ago, he went to the hospital at 6 am on Sunday because he couldn't breathe. A one night stay "just to make sure" turned into 3 nights, but he's home now and doing well.

I have no idea what the future holds for my Dad or your Mom. I do have an excellent idea what you're going through, emotionally, right now.

Try to stay positive and keep it together, but don't feel as if you can't just go into your room, shut the door and cry if that helps. There are things we can't control, and that frustrates the heck out of most of us.

But more often then not, things turn out well if we just have faith and hang in.

my prayers are with you, man. my family is in a bad situation, too. my dad's mother died of lung cancer in 1971 (i was born in 1984. never got to meet her). my mother's father died of lung cancer in 1994. my grandfather is a diabetic and didn't notice a sore on his foot, it got really bad and now they have to amputate. my uncle has muscular dystrophy and can barely breath now, on oxygen 24/7 and can't walk. and my dad just found out he is in the early stages of emphysema. oh yeah, my girlfriend has mono. and here i am, smokin a pack a day. anyway, good luck. i hope she pulls through

 

My thoughts are with u, i lost my dad when i was 15 back in 99... i know how that felt

I'm prayin for you n your mother. Hope she gets out fine. It's like a big shock when something happens to someone close. I know my best friend being taken to the hospital for an asthma attack doesn't even compare, but the feeling of concern is there.

I am praying Monkey; for you and your mother. This is a really hard thing to deal with. I remember writing one of my final Gr. 12 exams last year, and my best friend didn't show up, and he didn't show up, it turned out he was in an accident. Want to talk about shock go through you... luckily he walked away with a minor concusion. But it does not bother a person till it hits close to home.

 

All our thoughts and prayers are with you. The two tears I was up at Minot ND, my wife spent 14 months in Knoxville taking care of her mother , who died from a 10 yr battle with cancer last year. I can feel for you, but my wife knows exaactly how you feel and is praying for both of you.

Well it has been the worst 3 days of my life so far. Nothing good has happened so far. She is still in a coma. Have talked to nurse after nurse and doctor after doctor. Pretty much they all tell me that it will take a complete miracle to have my mom to live. I seriously don't know what I am going to do. My whole world is changing now and it isn't for the best. I am pretty sure I am selling both the RX-7 and the 97 Camaro. I want to keep my RS because that was my first car and my mom helped me pick it out. Me and my dad are prolly gonna move somewhere. Get out of this house anyways. I thank you guys for sticking behind my mom on this and praying for her and lets hope that yours and my prayers will be answered. Dont give up hope yet because she is still alive and there is a slim chance that I might not lose my mother. But the odds are against her and me. I dont wanna get into deep details and I am not looking for people to feel sorry for me. I just wanted to let you guys in on what is going on. And guys...I do ask for one favor from you all...Please for me, go give your mom a hug and a kiss and let her know how much she means to you. Cause you never know when your last "good-bye" will be...

Light is showing at the end of the tunnel...Today I went in to talk to her (cause they say even though people go into comas they can still hear you) and I stayed for about 15 or 20 mins just talking to her about stuff. I didn't get all sad and cry over her, thats for me not her. I just talked positive about things she likes. Like I said my dad promised he would stop smoking if she woke up. That was one of her main concerns was to get my dad to stop smoking. I also told her that I needed her here to send me off to college. That was her MAIN concern. And everytime I told her that I loved her and the other stuff she would move her eyes behind her eye lids. So I thought nothing of it and I went outside back to my dad in the waiting room and asked him how many times she moved her eyes like that and he told me that she hadn't done it all day long. So that is good I think. She also moved her arm back when the doctor pinched her and when you tickle her feet her toes curl up. So if you ask me I think those are good signs. The best so far, thats for sure. My dad keeps telling me that I should "prepare for the worst". I understand that and all but all my life I have been driven on one thing...My gut feeling. It has never been wrong before and right now it is telling me that I am going to get my mom back...I just hope it doesn't let me down.

i hope everything works out for the best for u.. i do know what ur goin thru too well.. the day after i broke up with one of my xgf (which happened to be on valentines day), her parents called me and told me she killed herself cuz of me. thinkin bout that just gave me a really bad cold chill rite now. to make a long story short, life goes on. u just have to take the bad with the good.

i will defiently have u and u mom in good thoughts and i really hope u dont have to go thru what could happen.
