F*ck me.....who sells Bondo-type materials?
Well, I hit a g0ddamn tire on my way home from school and it f*cked up the paint on my front spoiler lip.
The thing has some cracks from previous curb encounters so I've decided I'm gonna pull it off, strip the paint, bondo the cracks and have it repainted at work.
So....who actually sells bondo? I've never seen it in a store before......

I know how you feel! The same thing happened to me one day. Pissed me off to no end!!
Will bondo even work on the rubber/plastic front clip? Just about any auto store should have some sort of body repair goo.

use the fiberglass repair kit. will hold up better than bondo, even goriila hair bondo. the best repair is to replace the clip though.

That rubber/plastic front clip is made out of urethane. To repair the urethane bumper cover, you should hunt down the Bondo Urethane Repair Kit. It's a two-part epoxy that acts like regular Bondo does. If you have a tear, you should sand the tear so it's slightly indented, so you won't just be gluing the tear together (like you would use superglue on a ceramic figurine), you'll also be filling the area in. The stuff works great, sands easy, and makes an undetectable repair that's just as strong as the original - until you smack another object!
Don't use a power drill to sand the bumper; use a d/a sander. If you don't have air tools, you can glue sandpaper to a random orbital buffer's pad, or even use one of those little square woodworking sanders. A drill will cut into the bumper and leave you with a rippled bumper.
To prime, you need the proper stuff. I think Plastikote sells it... it's a two part system. First part is "flexible bumper adhesion promoter"; spray it on a naked urethane bumper. When that dries, you put on the "flexible bumper primer".
I used to buy my Bondo from Strauss auto; I know I've seen it in Pep Boys, too. If all else fails, get some similar stuff (different manufacturer but probably better than Bondo) from http://www.eastwoodcompany.com .

I recomend 3M P.R.O Fill/Bond Rigid Parts Repair Kit. My uncle works at a body shop and that's what they use. I've also used it on snowmobile hoods (same type of material) and has worked very well. Also very easy to work with. 3M part # is 05883. I ordered it from Bumper to Bumper.
Dan, my patch kit from Pep boys was about $25-ish
Of Course, since my move, I can't locate it, as it's not important!
It is just as described.
Mine front rear cover has tears/rips.
I am supporting from behind with sheet aluminum, bent to hold, counter sinking pop rivets, making a "V" grove gouge in the rip line, then the two stage epoxy stuff. I do have duplicolor clear primer for the urathane bumper. I found out "Body Shop Beige" Pep Boys spray can paint is ALMOST AN EXACT MATCH.
My fender turned out quite decent for the one large spray paint can I used to paint a white/then primer/then beige fender.
And Fender repaints lower than "I'll paint any fender for $29.95" works fine for me!
My car is almost one color again!
