Pic of my camaro

This is my 86 sport coupe with a 2.8 MPI,A4. I am very glad I bought the RS style IROC wheels and the window tint. Now I just need the center caps and since I replaced the passenger door I need to tint the right window and put the striping at the bottom of the door.

HEY HEY HEY HEY
My Firebird is Beige. Blends into teh crowd so easy, which is fine by me. Less theft problems!
I just repainted it beige, too.
Cost me a measly $9 in spray cans on the fender!
YET, I also repainted part of my Blazer (silver & white), too.
I do like a White car.
My 1966 & Dad's 1974 Corvette were white.
My current Corvette (originally Mille Miglia Red-real faded), will be repainted white, too.
Easiest color to paint.

I've owned so many rainbow roached colored cars before, it's a treat to almost have this car, one color now.
Even if I beat Earl Scheibs price of "I'll paint any fender for $29.95" by $19!
Stil have the nose to paint, too!
And the paint job is acceptable. I don't enter shows with this car, just go about my ways.
I amy finally paint my own cars
A buddy has a big back yard and paint guns & such!
Dying to paint my Corvette White. I don't have to reach so far to paint the roof!!! And body is straight, just sand and shoot!

The car used to be a dark white, more beige then white.
It turns a lot of heads since no third gen was painted bright white and had IROC wheels and window tint
Brian: I am not putting on body moldings because it is extra weight and then people would just shake it off as a IROC, right now people say its not an IROC, not a Z, not a berentella, has brigt white paint with IROC whees, so what is it and I just say its a sport coupe and they just scratch there heads lol.

Wayne,

Count your self lucky. The guy who owened my '92 before me used to wash and wax it every weekend, but never cleaned the wheels. In my opion he over waxed, if you look at angle you can see the swril marks. Now the white paint one the rims are stained. I've tried clean the hell out of them but they still have some stain spots on them. Pisses me off becuase the rest of the paint on the car is in good condition. It's just the wheels that look like crap. Ever sence I switch to Raybestos brake pads I get a crap load of brake dust. i thought they weren't suposed to create a lot of dust. Well at lest thats what I was told.

Does anyone know if you can buy a small can of clear coat? I'm thinking of sanding my rims and repainting them my self.

So you mean people actually appreciate Sport Coupes now?

Here's mine...

Of course it wasn't a V6...

LG4, Auto not stock.
It got rearended and totalled in 1998, its still sitting in a local junkyard. The engine, tranny, etc are long gone, the seats are gone, and some minor pieces here and there, but the body still has enough wax that the paint still shines. I figure it'll be crushed in a few more months.

its a special kinda paint you have to get .Its made for the wheel finish ( i think its aluminum anyway) . I DO KNOW you have to buy a special kinda paint for the finish it is and it has to be high temp paint . You could use just regular old spraypaint , but its not ganna last .
