easy fix for a leak?

I bought a 85 celica gt for 100 bucks last week all it had was a blown headgasket 100 bucks in parts and 4 days workin on it it ran perfect. I put 20/50 oil in it and the rear main seal started leakin its basicly loosin a qt in about a hour you can wacth it come out of the seal. are there any cheap fiixes for this like any kind of seal expander stuff like stop leak or what ever that will actualy work for this. Otherwise the car runs great

Well you COULD use some stop leak, but remember that stuff clogs any hole. It does not discriminate. So you COULD [possibly fix the reear main, but you clog several passages in your block. I would replace the bad seal, its your choice.

You do know the right answer.
You are so far ahead, money wise in the car.
Spend the $$ for the right work & parts.

One of my friends just had her Honda Oil Pan fixed in two hours for $160.
I'd find out what it takes to fix the cars leak.

Radiator sounds clogged up
Bet lots of rust stains around that area.
Lights?
Good luck with that Gremlin
I'd worry about the raditor.
Put hand over it to feel heat area.
How about hoses?
Ya know, all this is third gen
It's a car w/cooling problems.
Not many parts to go wrong.
Was the head warped?
Toyotas known for that problem.

me and my frind thinkit might actualy be the radiator cap it seems to be leaking and i read that water boils when it doenst have enough pressure so im gonna try that first. simplest to harerst. I herd that you can clean the radiator well if you use tilex i think it was i read it in CHP or hotrod i think not sure which magazine

TRY THE CAP
BUT

I went and got 5 selections of radiators for my Firebird.

Has the car overheated since you replaced the headgasket?
a blown headgasket will cause a car to overheat and boil over.

Glad to offer a good suggestion.
I've seen it before, so much junk, from trying to stop water leaks, it does in the radiator
In othere word's I'VE DONE IT TO MYSELF!!
Don't forget heater core, too.
Pick Your Part Time!!
Hope you score on an easy fix!
