Did you get the meter in the mail? I got mine yesterday; looks like a nice unit. Odd how my meter didn't match the one on the cover of the instruction booklet, but hey- it's got ohms and volts and RPM, that's all I need. I like how it came with the probe adapters, too.

 

Not yet , Im anxisously waiting . Should be in tomorrow .Yeah , when I read about it , I saw at the bottem at the page it said " product in picture , may not be the same one that fits description , or some kinda crapola like that .lol

I just burned up my tranny I left that cable un-hooked for to long and burned up 3rd and 4th gear .I feel so stupid ! .I had it rigged with the paperclip for a few days but it didn't stay on there , and I feel like a complete dumb@ss for not hooking it back up . My mechanic said "Im 29 and I still do stupid things lol" .

 

I still have not received it yet Tom . I got a small box the other day in the mail .Before I grabbed it out of the mailbox , I just knew it was my multimeter .But , it was my heat sleeve for my plugwire boot from Summit . Actron gave me a wrong UPS tracking number . So I mailed them concerning it . I hope to hear from them today .As for as Summit goe's , I tell you what , those people are WONDERFULL to deal with .For some reason they mailed my heat sleeve late . I didn't get an e-mail from them until a few days later saying it was shipped .I think it was the next day I received it in the maile ! Wow !But when they mailed it , they mailed it "priority" .But I can't say anything bad about Actron yet , people aren't perfect , a mistake may have been made somewhere .Im not mad at them as long as I get it .

 

Looks like Actron is pretty good to deal with also .They e-mailed me and said they wanted me to verify the addy .I did , well I thought I typed in the wrong addy . Turns out there computer lopped off one of the numbers by mistake .They emailed me back saying they investigated it and it was all their fault and they will be shipping it to me for free now and will be crediting my card for the other shipping charges .

 

Glad to hear Actron came through for ya. I love companies with great customer service. When I ordered this current cat-back from Summit (the first one cracked because I had installed it so the track bar smacked the i-pipe, oops), it didn't come in two days. I called them and asked about it- turned out they were waiting for some authorization from my credit card company because they had me in the system as "Tom", and my credit card had me as "Thomas". I told them I had intended to install it that weekend (this was Friday I was calling, Summit usually reaches me in two days, so it should've been there Thursday). Know what they did? They comp'd me for the handling fee, comp'd me for the "oversize shipping" fee, and sent it out on Monday as "next day air"!! I couldn't believe it- I only expected to get next day service, not get the normal shipping/handling free!

 

Yeah , you wanna shop from them even more when they have that great customer service .Jegs has some parts that summit does not offer . I want to e-mail summit and ask them if they could get these parts b/c I dont wanna buy them at Jegs lol You should know , the day after I buy my direct plug-in blaster gm coil that mounts on the factory bracket , Summit now offers the same coil , that is not mounted on that bracket (part # MSD 8224) .lol But , I never got my Summit new mag on time (look on page 129 ). Thats something else good about them , when i Ordered my new coil , they must have realized by the source code that I never received my new catalogue , so they sent me a new one . I can't exchange it through Summit b/c I bought the coil at Thunder Racing .I wanted to order through Summit but did not know how long my old cracked coil would last . Tom , Ive never heard of or seen a coil crack like that around the base of the terminal , and a circular crack around it . When I get my car back Mon Im going to change it .But , I can move the terminal with my finger , if I move it hard enough , I can break it off ! .

 

Dude, Summit's carried that coil for a year or so! If it's not in the catalog, call and ask about it! I ordered my Blaster SS coil before it made it to the pages of their catalog! Plus if you know the manufacturer's part #, you can search Summit's website for it. And yeah, that's odd how that coil cracked open- at least it "forced" you into an upgrade!

 

Aw damn ! lol . O-well .I was wondering why that coil was not in the "new products " section .B/c its not a new product lol .

 

I GOT IT TODAY TOM !! IT finally came in !!! Man , this thing is NICE . I even like how it says 4cyl 6cyl 8cyl on it . Only thing is I guess that means I can't use it on my VIPER ...yeah right heh ! Im dreamin ! ...Tom ,Man , that was SO AWESOME you came across that deal !!! Thanx again man !

Woah woah woah- WHAT? You got a video with the multimeter?? Damn, I lost out; I didn't get a video. I got the multimeter, a set of probes, two alligator clip attachments, and a manual- stuck in a zip-lock bag! Don't tell me you even got a "real" box, too?

 

I can't belive they didnt send you a Video .I knew the video was included when I ordered it .I even remember saying something to you .That's strange . O-well I'll watch it and tell ya if ya miss anything , No I didnt get a box .Just the cardboard box it came in heh

 

Get this Tom , heh , I have the wrong directions with mine .They gave me "timing light " directions . I guess we can put our half made-up kits together and come up with a full kit huh ? heh Im ganna e-mail them and ask them to mail me the directions .You should do the same for your video .Heck , they may have sent me the wrong video to .
