Alrighty i have my T25 Turbo...its off a Talon
Samething on eclipses
i decided to go small cuz i was worried being that i only have so much money to spend so.... i dun want to blow up my car and fry the piston rings...blow off the welds of my manifold and have pistons melt and/or fly through my hood
i heard its an easy turbo to fit in
i'm planning on gettings the intercooler from a thunderbird... problem is i dun know where i would mount it.... being if i mount it in the front..... i have no grille so what air is the damn intercooler gonna pick up.
i was thinking on two ideas for fixing that problem
one is customize my bumper or buy one off the graveyard and work out a custom made grille
also i wanna get a dual stage blow off valve... i'm gonna get it pretty cheap
as well as a boost controller... both of those parts are gonna be brand new and still will end up a little over 200 bucks at most
piping is the problem at hand
i have no1 at the moment to help me paste together the set up
so far the guy who sold me the turbo of an auction is a machinist but i dun know if he'll help me
my next door neighbor supposebly knows some stuff
but thats a maybe
until i know what to do for sure
i'm just gonna be polishing up the turbo
oh ya ... i have the waste gate as well... its external
does anyone know how to get lower compression pistons for my 2.8..... and for a 3.4
or what low comp pistons would fit the engine/s
So far my turbo project has just started... or at least the gathering up stuff phase
i'm gonna spend the next month working out my ignition set up
and when i get the turbo ready to go in... drop in 24 lbs fuel injectors, bigger fuel pump, and fuel regulator.
if anyone has ideas....
i'm up for a lesson
i'm learning about turbos so don't think i'm an expert or something
i plan on getting the slp intake kit on summit.... would that work with the turbo set up?
well i'm asking too many questions and i highly doubt all will be answered
