MAF Connector

My MAF Connector might be flacky. It looks good. Is there a magical fix to this connector. The wires look tight in it. Is there a fix without taking it apart? I tried connect cleaner already.

A new connector is about $15 from Pep Boys. If you want a part #, it's by Motormite.. here's the detail I posted up a while ago:

Okay guys, I knew I've seen that 5-pin pigtail at Pep Boys, and since I'm such a nice guy, I went there, and got the info:

Manufacturer: Motormite
Website: http://www.rbinc.com
Phone # (PA Office): 215-997-1800

85-89 5 pin MAF pigtail
Part # 85133
Pep Boys Price: $19.95

85-89 3 pin MAF pigtail
Part # 85111
Pep Boys Price: $15.95

So, there you go, it does exist! Of course, it's not through Bosch or GM. Have fun!

Of course, you want the 3-pin pigtail...

Thanks TomP. I replaced the MAF, it runs better, but not perfect. I think I have a vacuum leak. I'm ruuning at 14". I the old days 18-22" was normal, is that the same on these MPFI cars? If so that might be it. I checked the hoses they look good. The Purge Canister lines are very hard. Do they stay in the engine compartment or do they extend under the car?
