what size wheels/tire are you guys running?

i'm thinking about getting these rims from summit, but i'm unsure what size i want. i would like that big N little look but i dont want the front to be too small as i would like the car to corner decently. i dont want the rears so wide i have rubbing issuses.

If i were you id go with 15x5s front and 15x8s rear if you dont want problems, i have 15x3.5s and 15.10s and i had to roll my fenders and convert to manual steering, it was worth it to me but with the first two sizes i listed you shouldnt have any problems.

they sound like a good combo (5s and 8s). i had thought about running 10s in the rear but was afraid of rubbing. hmm i do some more thinking about what i want to run because i dont have the cash now to buy the rims anyways.

How will you be using that size for the rear ? I tried out some Corvette C5 rims that were that size for the rear, and there was no way they would fit without modifications done to the inner fender well and also, a spacer ??

Re: what size wheels/tire are you guys running?

I am currently using 18" Crager SS rims. 245/40/18 up front and 275/35/18 in the rear. The front size tires are not a good choice as they are rubbing slightly inside the fender wall when making extreme sharp turns. I will be choosing another tire size setup up front. Any suggestions ?

I have 15 by 5 front and 15 by 10 rears with a 5.5 bs. I wouldn't try and road race it or anything but no problems taking any turns just driving around.

17 x 9 on all 4 corners...275s up front, 285s rear. Zero rubbing, zero interference. Zero body trimming was needed.

your asking about sizes, but that all depends on diameter & backspacing, nut just width, as evidenced by the guy running 315s o the FRONT.

Re: what size wheels/tire are you guys running?

15x8's on all four corners. 235/60r15's up front, 245/60r15 in the back. Everything clears and with the 1/4" spacers I have in the rear, the car has that subtle "east coast stance" to it. Also, the tires stick out just enough where the white letters are flush with the fenders.
