If you wanna look like a hillbilly 5.5 backspacing would be the ticket.

Yes thats hillbilly. Get 6.5 back spacing and put them in the wheel well so you dont look like a retard.

15x10 6.5 backspacing and a 275/60/15 tire

how ironic because that bra looks retarded... but 6.5 would require modding the rear well which i dont want to go through the hassle. 1 to 2 inches max i can deal with, kinda like that big rear wheel look, anything past is too much.

btw love the hood

The bra can come off and is $20. Wheels and tires are alot more $$ and the car cant drive with out them.

Re: Another 15x10 b/s question

The bra is cause the car was hit 13 years ago when I first bought it. The front clip is scratched up a little and I cant stand it so I got the bra to cover it up. New front bumper and 4 in steel cowl hood next year. The only pic I have is from before I lowered it. The car now sits 2 inches lower then in the pic below.

I know this is a somewhat old thread but figured I'd put in my 2 cents. I have a 86 Camaro and I'm running stock 14's on the front and decided to put some old Crager 15" rims on the rear to see how it looked. I then wrapped the rims with some 30 year old Drag-Rite sixty's (L60-15 10" wide) and personally I love how it looks. Only problem that I have is that if I hit a hard bump the tires will rub the fender walls a bit. I plan to buy similar rims and tires in the very near future and keep the stance/look. Only thing I'll change is the new rims will be offset instead of center to avoid rubbing. I dont care how "hillbilly" it looks, I like it and so does my wife, lol. I'll post pictures in a few hours, once my wife gets home with the car.

84Z28, Did you have to modify your rear at all to accept the tire size? I'm somewhat new to upgrading wheel sizes and have an 86 Sport with drums in the rear, just wondering if I can slap em on as they say

You have to cut and modify the wheel wells to make the rim and tire fit. If you do a search I have a write up of what it entails with pictures.

275/60/15 MT et street radial. my car looks to be about an inch lower than yours though, so that might be making them look bigger.
