If you like the look of your stock Camaro or Firebird wheels, but would like them to be larger (17's, 18's, 20's and wider width), here are a few options available to you.

1st pic: Boyd Coddington - "1bad91Z" - Front - 17x8 - Rear - 17x10

2nd pic:Oasis - "Oasis IROC" - Front - 18x8 - Rear (Mr. IROC had them widened to 18x11) These wheels are available in 17's, 18's, and 20's

3rd pic: Blacksmith Forged (Real MFG. unknown) - "Crosslace / GTA / GNX" - Front - 18x8.5 - Rear - 18x10

 

4th pic: Year One - "Billet Snowflake" available in 17x8 upto 18x12

5th pic: Year One - "Billet Honeycomb" available in 17x8 upto 18x12

Twin Turbo - what wheels are those, they look slightly different than the year one snowflakes... ?? If I had a Bird, those would be my wheels..

Hmmm.... then they must be the 17 in. versions.

The pic I posted has 18's. Where the center pattern meets the hoop is different. Maybe the 18's have that little Y at the end of the pattern and the 17's dont??

17" X 9" cast aluminum "Snowflake" wheel set of 4 for 1993-2002 Camaro and Firebird models. Gunmetal painted recesses.


they are not expensive.... you would think they would be very popular, every were i read everyone say they are over priced but for $1200 sound pretty good for custom wheels.

 

yes, mine but the wheels are my buddies. He has them on his 80 Formula and I swapped them on to check how they look. The car is lowered significantly now, 2 coils front, 1.5 back.

 

If I could find 'em NOT in Chrome, I'd probably do it, but IMHO, those wheels in chrome look STUPID.

 

Well, I believe Mr. IROC sanded / painted / widened / polished his set. So it can be done... I think his turned out pretty killer!

 

I think he got one of the couple special order sets from Oasis, after that they are all chrome.

 

I was thinking about the YearOne Snowflakes before, now i'm for sure interested in them. However I wouldn't be able to afford the billet, but who cares, I don't mind the extra weight.

 

I love those 18" Crosslace "GTA/GNX" Wheels.
This would be great if they were available somewhere.
Would be my #1 choice if I upgrade my brakes and if I couldn't use my stock 16" GTA wheels any longer.


The YearOne wheels are very nice, too.

I think the guy has an email address for the GTA/GNX wheels. His website is still under construction as it only has a cover page.

 

I like the YearOne flakes but I wish I could get em in black.

His did, but those chrome IROC wheels are just played out. Since that's all thats available, it just looks boring.

 

The ones I've seen only have black accents on them. Unless they made a new style that's a totally black rim with the polished lip that I haven't seen.

 

Oh, the face is always machined, the spokes can be had w the unmachined parts in black. You can always paint them yourself.

 

Paint or powdercoat, I chose powdercoat, fixes everything.....

 

for the 2nd pic these look like factory rims at 18 inches. I take it custom made? If so anyone know where to get a set?

really like the look of the second gen snow flake. just curious about the second pic, my understading was that they only made a 8'' wide rim and does anyone have any idea what kind of tires those are?
