Dropped down from stock 16s to 15s.

Hey guys, I tried searching this up before hand and couldn't find much of anything. I currently have the original 15th Ann. 20 slot convexs on my T/A and I've been tempted lately to put the 16's in storage and buy some 15's to polish up and through white letter tires on. Other than the speedo problem, would there be any other problems?

Thank ya.

If you use 225/60R15 tires, which fit just fine, there won't be any speedometer issue. And there's nothing else to watch out for. If you choose aftermarket 15" wheels, keep in mind that the stock 15s were 15x7", with a 4.25" backspacing, and are 5 lug on a 4.75" bolt circle, but 4" bS fits just fine.
If you don't mind a speedo gear change, then you could go to 15x8" wheels with 4.5" backspacing, which is zero offset. You can still fit 225/60R15s on those, but I think it looks best to run 245/60R15s. Even so, there's no issues besides the speedo, unless you drastically lowered the car.

Re: Dropped down from stock 16s to 15s.

I see! That's awesome, because as much as I like my High-Tech Turbo wheels, and being they are the 15th Ann. ones, I've always liked a 15's simply because they polish up really nicely, and I can't find white letter 16's other than truck tires. Lol. Thanks for the help man, I really appreciate it.
