I'm after a bit of advice. Will i be able to put 20" iroc replicas (8.5J) on my standard camaro with a 1.5" drop?

Pleeeease say yes, or it's 18's for me!!

yes... depending tire size. i have 22s (265-30-22) with hotchkins 1" drop and has room for more.

 

Well thats great news. Do you reckon i could get away with 275 35 20 at the back and 255 35 20 at the front without scrubbing issues??

Would you mind posting a pic of yours on 22's for comparison purposes? You've got me intrigued!

thats a good idea.. a friend of mine is selling some 22's for the low that will fit i just wasnt sure if there would be any rubbing problem etc. turning the wheel too far? plus i think theyre only 245

 

just realized didnt take pics after drop. cant now until i drop motor back in. but fronts on mine are 265 and we beat metal in and in some spots cut and put in new metal... but im doin full U-turns with no rub now so all worth it.

 

Well that looks great, maybe a tad big for wat i got in mind! Always wanted a rag top tho...jealous!!

depends on width and tire size. my 265-30-22 did pretty bad.

 

Well I want an 8.5J rim with anything from 225 to 255 on the front. I think i'll get away with a 225 on the front from previous experience! I hope so anyway. I'll just have to try and see where I get!

 

I'm running the 20" Iroc wheels on mine with a 1.75" drop.

 

what size of tires did you go with? any rub problems? or wheel spacers?

theres a guy on youtube with 24'' iroc replicas on a black ttop, he said they just raised it a little with knuckles. the videos called dallas texas 214, his iroc looks sic on 24"s
