Re: looking for white letter tires...need help

how do they perform around turns and such? my biggest concern is cornering ability and rain. I have goodyears on my Berlinetta now and I can't wait to get rid of them so for my Z28, I'm definitely looking for an upgrade.

I had BF Goodrich radial TA's 235-60-r15 on my old firebird and loved em they did real good in rain and cornering.

Cooper cobras and road hugger gt's are also good choices. A little less $ than BFG's. I've had all 3.

i think it depends on the size, if you have a smaller sidewall like me then they wont be in white. my friend has them on his grand marquis and they are white

I think the OP was talking about his Z28. 245-50-R16 are not available in white letter for Firestone Firehawk Wideoval Indy 500.

I got them on my '86 bird and love them but they only go up to 15" with white
if you want to go to the 16" you have to go with the firehawk wide with out white
