Refinishing Ronal Firehawk wheels

So when i picked up my 92 Z28 it had a set of Ronal Firehawk wheels on it. Now they have no curb rash or anything but are showing some age. Anyone done anything diffrent to a set of these?
I plan on polishing the lips to a mirror finish and painting the centers gunmetal with the little indentation part between the spokes done in black. Now i just gotta figure out where/how to get the center RONAl emblem redone. I'll post pics as I progress.

Hmm guess I was right to think no one had done this before. Excited to post pics.

Since those wheels are really hard to find, i would suggest finding a nearby shop thats known for good wheel restoration work and have them do it. Those are nice wheels, just my .02.

Thinking of widening these wheels now to 17x11. Any thoughts?

That would look sick, but i think if you do that your now making the wheels appeal to a lesser crowd which might cause an issue should you ever decide to sell them.. again, just my .02.

Selling is not something i do lightly and these wheels will prob never get sold. I might as well do something diffrent as I gate being in the "norm" of what people do. So I'll prob get them widened and then get the powdercoated and lips polished.

Sweet man, make sure you get some good before and after pics, esp. from behind, their will be quite a noticeable difference in rear end shots when they are wider.

Widening them is a good idea. As far as paint/powder coating, I would have someone photoshop what your trying to do before you go through with it. At least you'll be able to see what it looks like before you make a decision. I'd love to the see the results.
