Will a 4th gen spare tire fit on my 86 IROC?
I don't trust my "inflata tire" factory spare. One of my friends gave me what I believe is a 4th gen spare tire. The backspacing is over 1" greater than my stock one. Will this fit on the front and back with no problems? I only need it to get home if I get a flat. Thanks.

I have personally used them(but not driven on them) around the yard to keep the car off of the body. Worked fine...

I've tried to put the spare from my '99 with a 16" wheel onto my 88 SC 15" wheels with drum brakes on the rear and it would not fit due to brake clearance. Not sure about the front though.

you didnt try it on the front? only issues with the rear drums? thats good to know
