Went to the junkyard the other day, and picked up a never used spare tire (since I will be using my car as a daily driver). I bought apparently the smaller one, the 125 70 15 sized one. I think that what it said. Anyways, it does not fit at all, rubs the caliper on both front and rear. I have ssbc brakes on front, and disc brakes that came with my rear end from strange a few years ago. I have been reading, and they made a larger 195 70 15 spare. Was wondering if it would fit, and what cars they came with.

 

the spares from 98-02 4th gens will fit a wide variety of brake setups. and i believe still fit in the spare tire well. not sure of the tire size.

from another thread, aparently the 98-02 spares, at the very least, dont fit over the rear drums
