Lost a center cap today

And I'm so pissed I can spit nails because I looked one up and sure they sell them at over $100 a piece, and oh yeah the emblem is separate. (Effing pirates). Is there anything I can do to lock the other three on so they don't go missing too? I am about to drill and tap the inside of the rim and use L-brackets bolted to the covers and the rim itself. I really can't afford to pay $400 for effing center caps. If anyone knows where I can pick up another cap with the silver bird emblem that is not charging $100 for it, let me know because the rim looks like crap without it.

You can check ebay for original ones. I bought a set of caps for 47 bucks.
This one seems good http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-92...Q5fAccessories

One small problem. I do not have paypal or a credit card. So can't shop ebay sadly. Best I could do is mail a money order. (Most places frown on personal checks so I use money orders as they are guaranteed their cash and I have no aggravation, which I like.)

Paypal is easy enough to setup if you have a debit card to your bank. I agree with on eBay. I sold 3 cracked caps on there years ago and got around $36 for them.

I've got 2 caps here. You can have them for $10 (plus shipping) if you want. They're silver. One has the WS6 emblem, and the other is missing an emblem. no cracks. Could be a temporary solution for ya if your looking for something easy.
They came with the Firebird rims I picked up, however I have a Camaro, so I have no use for the caps.
I'll take a money order if that's easiest for you.

Let me know, and we can work something out.

Re: Lost a center cap today

that's a nice gesure!

You can set up a paypal account with a credit card cant ya? Or you can go buy a credit card at a store that you can reload with cash. so basically its just a cash card.

Wonder if I can paint those. Mine are black. I'd just have to dig up a silver bird emblem.

Easily Paintable. As for the silver bird emblem... I may have some silver vinyl and can cut you up a silver decal for you to apply. May not look Identical to the ones you have, but from far away (even close up) I don't think you'd notice. Just send me a pic of the emblem that you have on there and I can make one up to size. I just need to check to see if I have any silver vinyl.
