Re: wheel noob....

Delete/edit = I was going to mention something about the difference between a wheel and a rim but seems there are some on this site using the terms interchangeably.

Re: wheel noob....

In a hurry? You can't buy rims in a hurry. What, was an e-bay auction about to end?
It's not just width, it's also the backspacing or offset, and the bolt pattern.
You need to know what fits BEFORE looking at e-bay or Craig's list, or any other source of wheels.
Also, what do you mean by no mods? No hammering? Or just no having to buy expensive parts? Or just no mini-tubs?
And why did you only mention the rear? Going to mix wide rear wheels with stock front wheels?

do you have any wheels now? best way to tell whats going on as far as fitment is concerned is to measure the BS of what you have and go from there.

15x10 with 4.5 will bolt on rear, but will stick out of the fenderswells big time, no pass on those. 15x8 with 4.5" of BS will work fine though. be sure to get the right bolt pattern though.

and DO NOT RUSH to buy wheels just because something it available. take your time, find something you really like, not just whats cheap, and make sure everything is right before you buy. Its a lot more expensive to buy wheels twice if you miss a detail and buyt something that wont fit.

If you used the search feature, you could have found all this info already posted a billion times a year in various places. especially in the 15" size.

FWIW, if you at least looked at the sticky what was linked to you in the first post, you would see what would fit before you get half way down the page.

Re: wheel noob....

For zero mods period, probably a 17x9" with zero offset. At all 4 corners. The cheapest ones are steel Cragars, at $76 each, new.
I say probably, because maybe would be a 17x9.5", if the '92 Firehawks didn't have some clearancing. IDK. Those had a +10mm offset.

Re: wheel noob....

If you get the backspacing just right, then no problem at all.
