My wife wants me to paint the wheels this color. I did this on the back porch last night, lighting was bad so its just a rough idea of what she wants....

 

wow i like it! but it depends on the color of your car...but i like the idea.

 

edit undo... edit undo... paint the recessed areas black and high polish the face of the wheel. No yellow pinstripe.

 

Car will be canary yellow. This is off the front and it has a big gash on it so i'm not using it on the car, just trying something different. I have a set of ss 10 spokes that I want to paint a dark metalic grey with a polished lip and paint the same color 2 inch stripe where the black and gold stripes use to be above the ground effects. Its too much of a pain to tape these wheels up to paint. Any ideas or disagreements welcome.

 

is this too much yellow for a canary yellow car?

 

I want to do my 10 spokes a little lighter color but with a polished lip.

 

Yellow car with black wheels and maybe black stripes looks OK , a yellow car with yellow wheels looks fine i guess but could be pushing it a little bit much. =

 

I think it might look too getto.
