Re: z06 rim question

I run 2" spacers with my z06 wheels, and ive got 285/35's out back with alittle room left. Id say maybe some lite hammering just to be safe but you should be ok.

Think i should run 285's to be safe? and are your rims 10.5 inches wide and are you running 2 inch spacers on the front to?

Thanks. Because I just picked up a set of real Z06 rims and ordered 2" hubcentric spacers. I'm going to be running a 295 in the rear. We'll have to see how they fit.

thanks!

They actually fit awesome and look amazing as well. Are yours chrome? I'll have to upload some pictures in a little bit. Mine fit pretty well all around. The 295's in the back fit with absolutley no trouble. If I decide to go to a 305 or 315 I may just need to hammer out the fender a little or use a 2.5" spacer. As for the fronts' nothing rubs but my tie rod is extremely close to the inner lip of the wheel. I am going to order 2.5" for the front just to give myself the extra clearence. Everything sits flush with the fenders and nothing sticks out. Like I said, I'll post pictures in a little bit. I'm at work right now and photoshop is blocked. lol.

I bought some z06 wheels too that are the same size. I've been wondering what tires I need just to be on the safe side. Please post ppics soon

Re: z06 rim question

17X9.5 w/54mm & 18X10.5 w/58mm offsets. I just got mine delivered and tried them with the 2" spacer that I had on my car (recomended size is 2.25" on the front and 2" on the rear) and its really close to the tie rod. I think if it wasnt for my c5 brake upgrade they would probrably hit the rim. I also would like to add that these clear my brake upgrae much better than the Konig Monsoons I had on that are the same size. The rear are also fairly close but nothing some hammering wont fix, I already have the rear lip rolled and have 295/35/18 to put on the rear. I will post pics once tires are on the car

Re: z06 rim question

they clear without any issues at all, very tight though. still say i wouldnt try it without a brake upgrade in the front or with a 2.25" spacer in the front

Re: z06 rim question

What backspacing are your z06 wheels? I was told there was absolutely no way I could fit my c6 Z06 wheels on my car.
